At Futures-Essex, we support children and young people who are struggling to access mainstream education.
We work with young people experiencing EBSA, anxiety, SEND, neurodiversity and other barriers to education, providing personalised learning in a calm, relational and nurturing environment.
Here, young people don't have to fit into the system.
We adapt the system around them.
Learn to be. Then learn to do.
We believe that relationships come before results.
Before a young person can engage with learning, they need to feel safe, understood and accepted.
For some young people, school has become associated with anxiety, overwhelm or distress. At Futures, we take a different approach.
Through trusted relationships, small steps, personalised learning and therapeutic support, we help young people rebuild confidence, reconnect with education and begin to see a positive future.

We support young people who may:
